Chuntao, Hoyt Axton is at El Rancho now along with some of his other other early LPs, just a heads up in case :)

also, kinda wondering how to send LPs (and by how i mean where), in case i get the urge to send. which would lead to another question, when sending should i just send away or do i have to ok it first? man, i'm fulla questions today. sorry...

i have a pile of about 600 mp3 discs burned from 1998 to around 2003 i need to go through soon to see what has been upgraded in the meantime and what is just plain gone now. so that's why i ask.

anyway, please let me know about sending if/when you get a chance. thanks!

Hi Chuntao
Thanks for your uploads, they've given me hours of pleasure.

I recently posted a comment offering you a Phillip Goodhand-Tait album (Teaching an old dog new tricks) as a thank you for all your hard work. I said that if you were interested then please let me know how to upload it.The comment was never posted and disappointingly I received no feedback from you.
This was frustrating for me (as it must be for you when people don't bother to thank you for your posts)
But anyway, yours is still one of the best blogs on the net IMHO, and thanks again

mrlotterby,

Thank you 4 your generous offer. I still have your last message but try and not publish comments that contain names of albums or requests until i have either found them or exhausted all possible avenues of obtaining them. Information is power mrlotterby, so i apologize for my shrewdness. I was not ignoring you. If you check the top of this page i have added a sentence on how to donate - RIP, ZIP and send me the TIP ie link in comments.

For zipping i use 7-zip.org. It is free and very good. Just change one of the drop down menus to ZIP after u install and thats it mrl. upload to any server of your choice.

Thank you again and appreciate your time and effort in offering me this great artist PGT^^

Thank you

C.

I'm sorry I don't have any of the groups your looking for, but I will keep my eye's open, I have fiends that work at a local radio station for over 40 years now. If anybody would have them they may. I have been looking for an old group from the 60's, early 70's, called Panama Ltd. Jug Band. They have a self titled album that is very rare, I've found one on ebay for over a hundred dollars; a bit too much. If you could find it, I would greatly appreciate it. I love your site and visit it often. I have even taken advantage of your link to easy-share discounts. Thanks again and keep up the great work.

hi Chuntao,
Sorry, i've been away a bit lately. i haven't really gotten into search mode yet but I have come across one thing I don't think anyone else has yet... you could surely use it for trades and such, and i've got no preference what you do with it after you get it, that's entirely up to you! and the likes of Phrock King A. might fall right out of their Xmas tree when they hear "The Dragons" on ESP-Disk WEST by Darryl Dragon and friends from the late 60's. I haven't got a scan of the cover yet, apparently a fairly homemade affair, but it's on the way, as is player info and tracklist. It might have to come later and that information might be available elsewhere, i haven't checked yet.

I think there is only one known copy of the record and i have a flac transfer i can send you ASAP. The music seems to run the gamut of psych forms, and towards the end it gets into kraut rock territory, but it's a very interesting listen. It might be the only thing I ever find worthy of contribution here, I don't know.

all i need is some suggestion on where to upload it for you, since i've never uploaded anything to a hosting site and i don't know what is involved in that.

anyway, hope all is well. feel free to get in touch at your convenience and I'll send this stuff somewhere!

Any news on Steve Haynes, lead singer with Hustler--70s-80s. I know he moved to North Carolina some years ago. We exchanged letters for a while after he moved; then I moved and lost his address somehow in the moving. I read today on a posting on this website dated December 2010 that he was very ill but have not been able to find out more about him. Would be grateful for any information anyone has. I wish Steve well whereever he is?

I was just browsing in a second hand music shop the other day, when mutch to my surprise I came across a CD copy of the long deleted :New Age Savage" by Pretty Wicked Head and The Desperate Men, which I had requested many moons ago. I quickly purchased the item in question for the princely sum of 10 bucks and rushed home for a bout of nostelgia.
I arrived here on Chuntao's request page to broardcast the news and maybe look to having it posted on theis blog, but as I see from a comment above, it has now been re-released.

Check out the following links for more information about this obscure little gem, ( I originally had one of those cassetts mentioned in the articles, which I think I purchased from a concert I saw them play back in the day.)

Pig Soul is a rock group formed in São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil in 2009. Some say it is R.I.O. (Rock in Opposition), but why should we use restrict and foreign limitations? Anything goes. From free improvisation to dodecaphonic and spectral nerdness. All in the veins of rock'n'roll of its members, connected to progressive and metal. It's jazz, it's salsa, it's insane. Above all, it's rock!
