Just like in most other forms of media,the USA has had an enormous global influence in what music we listen to, whether it is to American music itself or local music influenced by American music. I personally originally listened to English music in my early days, but of course that music was directly derived from American music. Over the years I have become much more familiar with many forms of Americana and so carrying on from the recent Mega "Uncut" sampler I now present a sampling of American music from my collection.
