Jenson Interceptor - Jenson Interceptor 1980

Another fine rarity for y'all now folks, in the shape of Canadian pomp rock band "Jenson Interceptor". This was donated a while back now from uber kind person and top contributor "uberbelly". I hung on to it for a little longer than necessary I guess, due to its rarity. But it is now available for y'all to enjoy. Jeff you are too kind. Thank you once again.

Thanks for this truly rare & beautiful one, Chuntao. Jeff, you beat me to it by a longshot! I was going to share this too, which means there must be some great taste floatin' around these days!
"Heavenly Angels" was the tune that made the lower reaches of the charts in the day, but what a gem! A rare song in life that sends shivers up the spine with its breath-taking melody & harmony. "Tiny Thing" does something of the same.

Nice rarity to share - well done, folks!

I've only just discovered your site and I'm VERY impressed with the albums that you have tracked down.

Thank you for sharing them with us. I'm listening to the Jenson Interceptor album as I type this and I love it.

anybody hanging around Chuntao's blog knows there's always great taste floatin' around. And a bunch of great peeps offering up such gems for Big C to post.

'Tiny Thing' is what did it for me...and the incredibly cheesy cover!

Always wondered why you didn't post it for so long, Chuntao...just thought it wasn't up to snuff. It's a very good album...not great but some real gems on it--mainly the ones written by Charlotte Weibe.

Thank you for the beautiful tunes. They remind me of the Wilson sisters in Heart.

Thanks for this one Jeff And C. Cover nearly put me off but as C has proved again and again you can't judge a record by it's cover. if you liked The awesome hometown band, then this one should impress too.
I have done a quick roddus review over at http://roddus.blogspot.com/2010/08/jensen-interceptor-jensen-interceptor.html

Thanks, just cruising through is a walk into the past. Never thought I'd see the word Titanic without Céline Dion attached to it again. Great stuff, and a real pleasure

As a kid I remember hearing "Tiny Thing" on the AM radio and there was something about the voice, the chorus and the strings that just got to me.
Obviously coming from 1980 it hasn't aged that well -overproduced and a terrible drum sound - but this was one of the first songs I attempted to download when I heard about PTP software in 1999. It's a song that never really left my head even after all these years, which sorta tells you the strength it has as a pop tune.

Ditto to the above, I remember hearing "Tiny Thing" as a kid in Alberta in the early 1980s.... took a long time to track it down.

Thanks so much. I have been looking for this for a very long time. I grew up in Saskatchewan and this was the first "concert" that I went to way back in the day. I think it was about 1981 in Tisdale Sask. As a young kid growing up on the prairies, it was pretty exciting to see a band play live when you had actually heard them on the radio. You have so made my day. I did have the album once upon a time but it has long since disappeared. I am listening to Tiny Thing for about the 10th time already. Thanks again.
