Sid Selvidge - Portrait 1969

If I was to say that this has to be one of the most beautiful albums that I have ever posted, then I would be not be exaggerating. And that is after all the great and rare music I have posted. This debut album "Portrait" by US country blues/folk singer Sid Selvidge is just timeless and will haunt your soul. I do not jest folks. It was released on Enterprise label in 1969, a sub-label of Stax Records. I have heard this many, many times and apart from the beautiful songwriting and charming, sometimes a Neil Diamond quality to his voice, you will get emotional. I feel cleansed I tell ya.
