This debut self-titled album by the late R&B/Soul singer "Teddy Pendergrass" is a tribute to his life and his millions of fans. Teddy died 2 days ago (January 13 2010) at a tender age of 59 following surgery last year. He is best remembered for the track "If You Don't Know Me By Now" which he sang with "Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes". He had a hard life since 1982, after a severe car accident, that left him wheelchair ridden. But his bravery and passion for life, people and his music seen him through these obstacles and worked with many up and coming new stars including "Whitney Houston" in 1985.
