Leif Garrett - Leif Garrett 1977

Something a little bit different folks, in the guise of pop with former bad boy turned good "Leif Garrett". This is his self-titled album from 1977, that charted to position 37 in the US, and surprisingly his albums are very rare. There are a few catchy covers and may interest other rock chicks who had his posters plastered over their bedroom walls, beside "The Bay City Rollers". Not my era, but I had 'Limahl' from "Kajagoogoo". Keep that to yourself. Coz I'm Too Shy Shy. Too Shy... Enjoy y'all.

Jackson Browne - The Nina Demos 1966-67

Hey folks, I posted 'The Criterion Demos' FIRST the other day and did some more homework on this top man "Jackson Browne" and found that "The Nina Demos" were still to be posted. These are very highly sought after as only 100 copies of these sessions were ever pressed on vinyl when Jackson was only 18 years old. The first 17 tracks from this collection were recorded at the Jaycina Studios in New York on January 7, 1967 and the rest were recorded at the Columbia Records Studio in Los Angeles, California in October 1966. Collectively both these sessions are known as "The Nina Demos". So folks, if you wanna hear the roots of a true talent, then get these very collectible and thoroughly enjoyable sessions here FIRST. I also found a link to his lyrics for this set.

Next up are US Southern Rock band "Missouri Dirt". This is their only album and from 1977 and was released on private label. And there isn't much info on these guys either. I posted this album recently and unfortunately had to delete it, as the last track was corrupt and just about everyone else's copy is the same. I had an ALBW copy as well and it was the same. Pity. But one of my avid readers Allisone, kindly donated this totally uncorrupted version in 4ma format and I re tagged it and put it in to 256kbps. So thanks for your patience Carrol. You requested this, so "It's For You" and anyone else whom takes its fancy. Enjoy. And Allisone I give you my sincerest gratitude.

Blac Dog - Backwoods Boogie 1970

The description for the next one mega rarity on lysergia by "Blac Dog" says "Swamp fuzz rock, harmonica. Heavy southern rock boogie sound." This sole album "Backwoods Boogie" is an excellent piece of work. I love the harmonica and many of the songs are very addictive, especially "Iggi Diggi Di", which has the fantastic tongue-in-cheek line "Iggi Diggi Di, Iggi Diggi Do, drowned my baby in a pot of gumbo...". A Roddus Music Sampler Volume 10 - 60's Garage/Psych

Now here it is folks, something I have been wanting to do for some time now, the mother of all Roddus Music Samplers so far. It was all started by the 'Nuggets' album in 1972, then we had 'Boulders', 'Rubble', 'Pebbles' and 'Back From The Grave', just to name a few of the 60s garage/psych comps that have come out. I have had copies of many of these comps and more over the last 25 years, and this is a playlist of some of my most favorite tracks. Many of which have been etched into my subconscious. Just as much as "The Beatles" or "The Rolling Stones." So dust off ya winkle pickers, slip on ya stove pipes and rock out to this awesome music, Man.
