Ok, So I Got a selection your latest posts, since you started posting again, loaded onto my Ipod today. And what an impressive bunch they are. This Apple Pie Motherhood stuff is bloody brilliant, talk about psyched out 60s guitar pyrotecnics. Most wonderful, the pick of a very good bunch. C, You never fail to find the best obscure music. There is so much totally obscure stuff from the 60s and 70s being posted on so many blogs out there and so much of it is OK but kinda all sounds the same and a lot of it is just plain boring, which is why it is so obscure in the first place. But Chuntao always seens to find the best of it, so many great lost albums has she put me onto in the last 12 months that I will be amused and thrilled for many years to come, and they still keep coming. The other great posts I have been enjoying today are: Mcginness Flint - McGinness Flint, Great southern styled Country rock. Doucette - the Douce is Loose, Great Rocking band Kinda more mellow and more radio friendly Van Halen Micky Jupp - Shampoo, Haircut and Shave, very good blues and jazz tinged pop. Fabulous Rhinestones - Fabulous Rhinestones, also very good blues based rock, kinda like an early "blues travller" Also some Steely Dan like FM rock, laid back great dinner music. Heavy Ballon - 32000 Pounds Offbeat psych pop, also highly recommended.
And of course the Quagmire comps, some great tracks i haven't heard before, looking foeward to the rest of the series.
Gr8 that ae enjoying some of these old albums and apologize for taking my time in getting around to the Quagmire set for you. I wasn't looking forward to the amount of work to tidying them up unfortuneately. ie wrongly named , wrong track numbers etc etc. But well I hope others are enjoying some of these comps and thanks for your kind comments again.
I apologize for 2 of the McGuinness Flint albums that got deleted very sharpish. If You want them let me know ;] But the others ae ok from them- Some you win some you don't.
Looking forward to a new sampler if you could squeeze in some Xmas special perhaps nudge nudge that would be gr8. Otherwise just rock on in the meantime and fill that ipod of yous lol
Chow for now Roddus

PS
I have a sticky Letter R on my keyboard and might be time for an early present...
Not got much Xmas related music on my hard drive, not much into it, I'll have a think and see what comes up, in the mean time look forward to the exellent sampler I uploaded last night. Roddus

No worries Roddus,
You know I wasn't angling at the pithy traditional xmas stuff. Stuff that is xmas related but rare.
If you can manage something good on ya', if not it's ok. I await your stonking samplers....

I fucking love this band. Who runs this blog? I want to kiss him.
