Little Village - Little Village 1977

And speaking of "Little Village", here is another band with the same name, but are actually pre-Fountainhead from Connecticut. This is good. Enjoy.

Great find! I don't have this album as the group hit before my time but I have attended a couple of Little Village reunions over the last few years and the band still rocks featuring Mark Nomad and Johnny Frisell on guitar.

The Mark Nomad Band will be playing at The Hungry Tiger in Manchester CT on Saturday Oct. 24th. The John Frisell Band appears Thursday Oct. 15th.

Back in the day, Little Village and later Fountainhead were my alltime favorite bands. As a Connecticut resident, I used to go to H.L. Wilfred's in Hamden to see them. I live in Baltimore now, but tonight, I got homesick for the music I came up with and decided I wouldn't stop until I found the entire album or at least part of it. You made my whole month!

I was at the Shaboo for Little Village's final show. At least, I think it was their final show. I think it was sometime in late 70's.
I agree, I liked Staneman and his 2-hour specials
