Hey folks, I posted 'The Criterion Demos' FIRST the other day and did some more homework on this top man "Jackson Browne" and found that "The Nina Demos" were still to be posted. These are very highly sought after as only 100 copies of these sessions were ever pressed on vinyl when Jackson was only 18 years old. The first 17 tracks from this collection were recorded at the Jaycina Studios in New York on January 7, 1967 and the rest were recorded at the Columbia Records Studio in Los Angeles, California in October 1966. Collectively both these sessions are known as "The Nina Demos". So folks, if you wanna hear the roots of a true talent, then get these very collectible and thoroughly enjoyable sessions here FIRST. I also found a link to his lyrics for this set.

Hey thanks for something else rarer than rocking horse sh*t, I don't know how you do it.
Just to know that someone out there cares enough to share these wonderful songs with us all means there is some hope for the world.
Thanks again

Hard to believe we were ever this young.
You are truly a time machine.
You're totally spoiling us with these treats! I've heard about these tapes but never could have imagined that one day I'll be able to hear them. This weekend is reserved for J. Browne. Thank You from the heart of my bottom... I mean, from the bottom of my heart, sorry 'bout that...

The Nina demos were two 12-inch 33rpm LPs. NINA MUSIC PUBLISHING BMI white lable. 3 sides are Jackson Browne, 1 side is Steve Noonan. When Jackson was in New York he was 17 years old. He was for a time Nico's boyfriend and backed her solo (non Velvet) live performances on guitar. She recorded "These Days" which is on the Nina demos, titled "I've been out walking" I had the vinyl LPs for many years. Sold on eBay in 1999 to a Japanese buyer for $1,200.00.
I am humbled to have access to these songs
What a cache of unreleased treasures
More demo songs by well known artists!
