Here is another rocking cool album from "Dave Edmunds" folks. Released in 1978 this solo one, "Tracks On Wax 4" features all the men from "Rockpile" with 'Nick Lowe', 'Billy Bremner' & 'Terry Williams'. Now I bet that this got all your attention.

01. Trouble Boys (Billy Murray) (3:02)
02. Never Been In Love (Nick Lowe/Rockpile) (2:28)
03. Not A Woman, Not A Child (Murray/Peters) (3:21)
04. Television (Lowe) (3:19)
05. What Looks Best On You (Lowe/Edmunds) (2:26)
06. Readers Wives (Noel Brown) (3:11)
07. Deborah (Lowe/Edmunds) 2:38
08. Thread Your Needle (Brenda Lee Jones/Welton Young) (3:27)
09. A.1. On The Jukebox (Edmunds/Will Birch) (3:15)
10. It's My Own Business (Chuck Berry) (3:56)

Truly a great great album. I've read that this one and a Nick Lowe album around this time were released as solo albums because of contractual problems, but were in reality Rockpile albums. I already have this album but I urge all your readers to download and play the heck out of this one!
Hey, sorry about that C. It was track 5 (Gee, The Rick & The Three-Card Trick)on the one I had been waiting for (of course) - Nick Lowe & His Cowboy Outfit. I was able to find that song somewhere else but at a much lower bitrate. Of course I appreciate you posting that record and also the Dave Edmunds - another old favorite. Check back with ya later. Thanks again. TC
TC,
I looked into your query and downloaded the archive myself and it seems that it is in mp3 format and plays fine on all m media players. What are you playing it on?
If you are using your phone or something else, i suggest to download it again and shorten the name of that track, there may be too many characters for your device and it is cutting MP3 short into 'M'
Hope this works as getting Old Nick in 320 bitrate is unusual also.
Let me know how you get on.

Hey C. I downloaded Nick Lowe again & opened the zip folder & all tracks were in MP3 but when I opened the zip using Extraction Wizard (came with my computer), it skipped that track. Using Extract Now which I downloaded to open RAR files I got an error message saying it couldn't open all files & that's where it showed it as an M file. Anyway, I opened the zip folder & moved it to my music folder - crises averted! Thanks alot for your help. TC
Hmm,
That's a strange one to me TC. I use 7-zip and don't have this problem when i opened it. I don't use windows extraction facilty myself, but it could be the length of the track that was the problem, but if you had no probs opening Britiush Invasion Volume 01 , as the track lengths were rather long, then I really do not know what could have happened.
Glad it is fixed Tommy and thanks for your query. We are always he5e to help no matter the minor glitches.
Enjoy Old Nick TC ;)
Bye for now
C.
rustythehusky,
Great minds must think alike and appreciate your kind compliments. We do our best and hope that you have one huge playlist now....

DZLONDON,
I think you are right there. These guys have been friends forever so it was all contractual issues and that is why it was marketed as a solo album. Good of you to drop in on us again DZ and rock on^^
C.

I have only juststarted Jim... ;]

Uber groovy, recently stumbled on to your site, I have been visiting a month or so off and on. At times my Malware program will not allow me to download, but other times it will, so I have been grabbing things as I can.
Once I listen I will do my best to make comments as I can, but even when I do not make the comments, I do check the boxes. Namaste.
