Now here is a charming soundtrack from the romantic comedy film "Irma La Douce", directed by 'Billy Wilder', that features 'Jack Lemmon' as a copper who does things by the book and 'Shirley MacLaine', a French harlot "Irma The Sweet". The music is by Andre Previn and is a wonderful reflection of the burlesque atmosphere that surrounds the era. Quite lovely and since it won best score also, I really recommend this for those die-hard romantics out there. And none more so, than Suzito1, one of my subscribers who requested this lost soundtrack of times gone by. Enjoy folks.

Thanks for this. It is truly a delight for romantics........and now that you've heard the soundtrack....rent the film, watch it and be prepared for a good time!
Hey Judith,
You are very welcome. I liked it alot and not the normal thing I post here but why be a sheep all the time eh? The music is quite lovely and I read about the film whilst I was writing and I really like Jack Lemmon - he always makes me laugh and Shirley MacLaine is such a doll also, that I should get a copy of the film and I actaully collect vinyl soundtrack of all the old movies ie Mary Poppins, Singin' The Rain etc. So I will look in2 that also.
Thanks for stopping by Judith and appreciating this old classic ;]
I watched a Korean film recently and really recommend the soundtrack to "I'm A Cyborg, But That's Ok". The music quite lovely also. And the film was very funny...
