Grand Prix - Grand Prix 1980

"Grand Prix" were a UK pomp rock group that started their music career as a band called "Paris" in 1978. The lead singer, Bernie Shaw (ex-Legend), and keyboarder Phil Lanzon went on to form "Uriah Heep". These guys made three very good albums and this is their self titled debut from 1980. And this is on request from one of my subscribers Juergen folks. Danke Juergen. Enjoy.

Hi Chuntão.

I'm OldrockerBR, admin of PHROCK Blog.You left a message on our chat where he says that the albums published PHROCK: Ruperts People and The Open Mind, that this material had been removed from your blog.

You're wrong. Download the two discs and you will see the differences.

In addition, the guidelines are very different PHROCK Blog:1) 95% of materials are extracted from the original CDs in our collections;

2) When the material is not original PHROCK, it said it made the rip and scan;

3) ALL albums riped are using the highest quality in MP3 (bitrate 320K);

4) ALL posts contains artwork scan resolution of 300 DPI.I await your request for public apology in the PHROCK CHAT.

Best Regards,

OldrockerBR.

I love the "Samurai" album, I remember playing the LP on weekends while having some whisky, it was kind of a ritual in the 80s. Sounds a bit silly, I know but WTF! :)
It's good to get some earlier stuff from the them to check out.
Trivia: Might be worth noting that Robin who replaced Bernie on vocals recorded a demo with the reformed Survivor not that long ago (well... 2 yrs or something like that...).
Thanks for the upload!!!
