US rock band "Blackstone" only did one album and this is that self-titled one from 1971 folks. There isn't much info on them and there are a few bands with the same name from different countries, so I hope y'all trust me when I say, that apart from being pretty rare, it is also very good folks.

Thanks for this version of Blackstone. 2 "Blackstone" groups released albums around the same time..this one in 1971 (American band that had Max Wienberg (drummer with Bruce Springstein).The other Blackstone had an album out in 1972 (they recorded on a Canadian record label but were basically the group American band Rhinoceros (great band as well).

Yeh I appreciate your comments. I read on rateyourmusic about Max Wienberg being in the band but that was all I could find on them at this time.
I am also in the process of tracking down the other canadian Blackstone album, which I have heard is pretty good also. I never knew they that went on to become Rhinoceros though. So thanks for that and enjoy this rarity Anon ;]
