This next one is a great out-of-print compilation of 60's rock and pop. "Stardust Original Soundtrack" features "David Essex" and "Dave Edmunds" in a fictional band called 'The Stray Cats", and ironically the real band were later managed by Dave. There are many tracks sung by him that are very rare and do not feature on any of his many other collaborations, with 'Rockpile' or even 'Love Scultpure", which is a few years before obviously. The Dave Edmunds tracks have been published on powerpopcriminals blog, but today I am offering up the full album with 44 tracks folks. And now for the killer punch! This sweet gem is on request from Newman, a true Edmunds fan and claims that this is his ULTIMATE wish. So Newman, my loyal visitor and commentator how does this grab you? I have downloaded both parts and found several tracks that don't work... #'s 15 thru 20 on part 2 ('Let It Be Me'thru 'Dea Sancta')
and 'Up On The Roof' on part 1. Is it me or has anyone else experienced this?? What I have listened to was awesome!

I am sorry u are having some problems with this one. No-one else has mentioned this yet. I will d/l it myself anyway. But easy-share normally doesn't accept files that are suspect sometimes and sometimes including a cover can not bite also. But I will check it out Newman. No worries. We wouldn't want you not getting your ultimate wish, would we? ;]
In the mean time you can d/l the Edmunds trax over at powerpopcriminals (link in post).

Thanks for this but I too have problems with disc 2 15 - 20. Also, what should be 'Angel baby' by the Big Three is in fact Hendrix 'All Along the watchtower'
Fine upload though - had this on cassette years ago, the Uk version (which I think this is, although the tracks listed on the blog are the US version)- great to hear it again - my tape went AWO, years ago

Those tracks were in AAC format and sometimes people don't have problems playing them. But in saying that this RARE MP3 not rare AAC. So I apologize for the inconvenience N. and hope that this keeps you out of mischief for a while ;]

I found both albums in the second hand store, with no cover. I played about twelve tracks on my graveyard show on RRR 102.7 fm, on 18/11/2009. Thanks for the info on where they came from. Also for clearing up my confusion over the Stray Cats tracks.
