Painter - Painter 1973

Somehow Canada seem to be the country of the moment, and I won't disappoint y'all with this fine Albertan rock band "Painter", that were spawned out the flagging 60's band "49th Parallel". This is their only and self-titled album, but later changed their name to "Hammersmith" producing two albums, that are also rather rare. This is on request from flinthill. Good choice.

01. West Coast Woman (2:48)
02. Tell Me Why (2:02)
03. Song For Sunshine (3:01)
04. Goin' Home To Rock N Roll (2:58)
05. Space Truck (2:37)
06. Kites And Gliders (3:44)
07. Oh! You (2:24)
08. Slave Driver (3:02)
09. For You (3:57)
10. Crazy Feeling (2:42)
11. Goin' Down The Road (8:47)

Thank you very much. You are the King of Bloggers. I can't believe you found this. If you run into any by Hammersmith or 451 degrees that would be awesome. Again Thank you so very much. John

I'm new here and although a Canadian (Toronto) I don't remember this band. Lot's of good feedback is usually a good indication however and I'm now going to D/L it. Thankyou for posting this one. cheers.....Jeff

The cowbell is what makes this song. Remember it well, got lots of CanCon airplay in Toronto.
