Time again for one of my favorite artists and one of the most talented. From his days in "Brinsley Schwarz", to "Rockpile" and even his solo work, he never runs out of ideas for songwriting. There are a few who have requested either this album or more albums from 'Basher' "Jesus Of Cool". So a big up for Newman, Tulloch, Tommy C, Broshoe & Nate who have all wanted more of Old Nick. This time he is rocking 'n' rolling with his 'Cowboy Outfit' and delivering us "The Rose Of England" from 1985. Lap it up folks.

What a treat! Thanks Chuntao! There's a reason why this is one of Nick's most acclaimed albums.
Now just if NICK LOWE AND HIS COWBOY OUTFIT can be uncovered (didn't mean that to be a pun - but that album does seem to be rather elusive)...
-Nate.
Hey, Thanks again,C! I really appreciate the Nick Lowe. I'm only looking for the next one with the Cowboy Outfit (hint, hint). But you've posted so much stuff that I'm unfamilier with & want to check out that I'll be busy for a while. I really look forward to checking out your blog to see what you've put up next. Thanks again.
as always thank you for all the work you put into this blog.
as far as the next set you're going to upload, i'm a drummer that is into every genre of music. so i look forward to whatever comes after the rarest of the rare series.

Well thank You ,sir! I was plannig on ripping my old vinyl to my computer but since it (the vinyl) has
couple of nasty scratches on it I've been puttin the job aside. Now I got it in good quality. Nice one.
Jway
Yo' Joe,
If you like most genres then you will appreciate the next series that will be upped by Roddus. He is also a music maestro and inroduced me to lots of new genres also, including hundreds of my readers.
So Joe, I appreciate your comments and also your patience. All I can say is that there are 24 in R's series and might go up a lot aster than my Rarest Of The Rare set.
Drop by soon... Like you won't ;]
C.
Jway,
Saves you the trouble my fried. I didn't reealize that his(Nick) stuff was that rare, but it sure is and he is the man of the moment. When I started blogging it was Nazareth. Big swing there now.
Jway, if you think there are rarities that perhaps you have on vinyl and not been ripped or upped yet, please let me know, as I would love to be the first to get my hands on them.
Enjoy Nick in the mean time Jway and speak to you soon.
C.
C, you know I drop by 2-3-4-5 times a day. i have the patience of a jedi master. i'll just thank you (and everyone else) for the time and effort that goes into providing me/us with all this great music. one day soon i hope i will have the time to give back more than just my thanks. 'till then, THANKS!!!!!

No worries Newman,

PS Yes When you finish listening to Roddus' sampler, why not leave him some comments in his posts. He will reply personally Newman ;]
Yo C, Thanks for more Nick! I left a comment on the day you posted Rose-don't know what happened to it. Anyway, just wanted you to know how much I appreciate your blog - I look forward to seeing what you've posted next. I'm just looking for Nick's first one with the Cowboy Outfit - before Rose - (hint, hint). Thanks again. Later
Hey C, I've left comments twice but they haven't showed up-don't know why but anyway I just wanted to thank you for posting Rose of England and to put in a request for Nick's first one with his Cowboy Outfit. I also just noticed that that posting with the Dave Edmunds cover was really Nick Lowe. I have many of the songs but not all-so thanks for that too. Look forward to seeing what you post next. Later
joe form the usa,
You must have the patience of a saint and the committment of a true champion joe.
More power to you. Your comments are more than enough, but if you feel you have special rarities that cannot be gotten anywhere else joe, let me know my friend. And Roddus has now upped that 24 hour set of his special collection in one go. Hope ytou find this to your liking ^^
C.
Another little gem, thanx Chuntao!
I've been surviving on just the greatest hits CDs of Nick for far too long!!
