Here is another rollicking upbeat album from no other than "Nick Lowe" of 'Brinsley Schwarz' and 'Rockpile' fame folks. From 1983, "The Abominable Showman" is another cool album with cool tracks from, well, "The Jesus Of Cool". Enjoy. And this is on request from Nate, who is struggling to find it anywhere. Nate, RARE MP3 isn't anywhere... It's just there.

Many, many thanks for your ongoing series of Basher posts. Can I suggest The Rose Of England next? Pretty please?
Woohoo! You not only made my day, you made my WEEK! How is this catchy album not better known? Thanks so much for this - keep the '80s Lowe stuff comin'!

This is great! Thanks for posting. Any chance you can post Nick's 'The Rose of England' LP? That would complete my collection!
Been waiting patiently for more Nick Lowe - Thanks! I have tried some other stuff out - I liked the James Dewar (didn't know it existed - a lot different from Trower) and Blue (very similar to Badfinger). Thanks again & keep up the good work!
Hey Tulloch, Tommy C and Broshoe,

Great stuff. It should be a criminal offence that Nick Lowe's albums are so difficult to get hold of these days. Thanks for righting this wrong!
Thanks for uploading the out of print Nick Lowe albums. The Jesus of Cool CD-reissue is excellent, too bad we have to wait so long for the rest of them.
Here is my Cool Reaction to having Paid the Price for a long wait to get this (one of my Fave Basher albums) on something other than my vinyl. Mine is still in great shape really need to get that turntable hooke back up!
