Saw Meal Ticket live on numerous occasions and bought all 3 albums when they were released, only to lose them all with my first marriage in 1985. Have been looking for digital copies of these albums for ages and am therefore ecstatic at finding these wonderful posts. I cannot thank you enough.

Check out, 'Bring Back Meal Ticket' on facebook. There's a musical based on their songs - played for three weeks in the States. Need support to bring it to the UK

This is quite brilliant, thanks a lot for posting.

I have to wonder; the date is listed as 1977, but Code of the road was 1977 and Take Away was 1978. What year was this?

I think this was also 1977. From memory they had a wonderful catalogue of songs, were brilliant musicians and wonderful live. As this you tube clip shows http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dhE-f5UDjg

I've been longing to get this album again. I still have a vinyl copy somewhere in my loft and I'm sure it's in pretty poor condition so I was looking forward to downloading it. But it seems you may have fallen foul of the dreaded copyright laws. Any idea where I might be able to source this legally? I think I'll hunt through my loft and see what other obscure vinyl I have and might like to hear again, Original Mirrors, perhaps. You're doing great and valuable work, good on you.
Kind Regards.
