I posted their debut "Code Of The Road" recently by these guys. And so I share their second album "Take Away" from "Meal Ticket" next. This is a rather lovely album with a great country rock feel to it. I thank Robert who introduced me to them, after requesting their very rare debut and it took me some time to track that one down. So enjoy this one folks, coz I did.

Pretty good aor with an edge. Two hickups in track 2 don't detract from overall enjoyment.
So why doesn't this get any comments? Does it have to do with the cover? They went Jade Warrior-style on this instead of showing off their fashionable trousers, but surely that can't be it?

loved hearing code of the road again after many years so v pleased to discover their other two albums - good work my friend
Hey thanks, I used to enjoy this band in pubs and colleges round London back in late 70s I guess. They mostly worked as musicians for the BBC I think, and used to get a lot of BBC types come and enjoy them, too.
If you don't mind I'll also take Code of the Road. I have the vinyl and have attempted my own digital versions, but I played the album so much, and looked after it so poorly (shame), the quality is poor.
PS - sorry I meant the band Meal Ticket on my recent comment.
