The Magic Lanterns - Shame Shame 1968-71

I got a request in a while ago for this UK rock pop group "The Magic Lanterns" from the 60's. There was speculation for a while in the collector's circles that "Ozzy Osbourne" started out in this cool group, but it is a pure myth. The guy's name is Mike 'Ozzy' Osbourne. So grab a slice of 60's pop pie today folks.

Good band, they used to be the Sabres, who had that great hit "excusemebaby", yes good psychy sounds, but after all, a pop group ah?

Cheers Chuntao !

Hey Newman :)

How's tricks? Glad you liked this band. I do too. They are quite addictive.

I have the artist you mention on your recent OST request. 9 tracks but would like to post the whole album, so need to gather them one by one. Shouldn't be too long my friend before I give you your ultimate wish ;]

Remember "Excuse Me Baby" & "Shame Shame" but there's a whole lot more to them than meets the eye. Pop yes. But fun and airy. What pop music should be. They sound as though they're having a good time and they probably are.

...although they made the US & dutch charts occasionally, they suprisingly never managed
to get a hit in their home country, as far as
I'm concerned...
