And here is the second album by Scouse art rock band "Deaf School" folks. I had a few comments about their debut and we managed to work out that a double album was released which contained these first two albums and were also released individually. So enjoy "Don't Stop The World".

02. What A Jerk (3:42)
03. Darling (3:18)
04. Everything For The Dancer (1:09)
05. Capaldi's Cafe (4:56)
06. Hypertension Yeah Yeah Yeah (2:59)

Thanks for adding this one, Chuntao. A great addition to 2nd Honeymoon. Congratulations on a great and useful website.
Well done Chuntao !!!
For many years I have been searching for the song Follow the Wind by John Jolliffe, so far without any luck. It was played in 1979 on the british radio for a couple of weeks, and I taped it on cassette. Many years ago the tape was stolen from my car and I've been searching for it ever since. So if you have it somewhere in that enormous pile of great music, please put it up! :)
Mieke,
I have seen your request on another rival blog. I have some good news and some bad news. I prefer to hear bad news first. This is a very rare track indeed. Here is a link to an audio clip of this lovely track - 90 Seconds http://193.63.162.100/unid_tunes.html right click on the red sample bit half way down and save as. It has a low bitrate 36kbps and is cut from an old radio program. That's the bad news. The good news is that if you click on this link http://lix.in/-49227e you can buy this 7" for buttons. Auction end in about a week. Good luck and let me know how you get on.
Chuntao
Thankx BBKron,
I read your other message and will fulfill my obligation real soon ok. In the meantime enjoy what you see here and looking forward in striking a couple off your list ;]
Chuntao
Hi Chuntao,
I have indeed got the 90 seconds now and I sent an email to the address on that page, but did not receive an answer.
I did not get the 7" because I cannot play it anyway, so I'll just keep looking for it. There must be someone somewhere who has the vinyl and is willing and able to rip it (I hope). :)
"Don't Stop the World" was a hell of an album by Deaf School. "Don't Stop the World", "Hypertension Yeah Yeah Yeah", and "Capaldi's Cafe" are the greatest rockers here(if you thought of this bunch as being only a bunch of fops listen to "Capaldi's Cafe"/the sheer force of it will peel the paint from your walls), while "Taxi", "Everything For the Dancer", and "Operator" explore more thoughtful territory(does anyone remember the female singer on "Operator"? a great performance....). A band I thought could have done more. They had an interesting and active sense of humour which is evident in some of the cuts here...
