Whisky Hollow - Whisky Hollow 1978?

Yo' folks. I got a request in a couple weeks ago for this awesome Canadian country rock band "Whisky Hollow" from Da Fingermeister. He made an error in the spelling of their name (e in whisky), so like i do, I tried many permutations and variations and I hit pay dirt. I then decided that I couldn't let this gem of a band go without getting some sort of post on my blog. I therefore wrote to Pat, asking if it would be fine to post one of their real addictive albums and sure enough I got a reply from him a few days later saying that it would be fine. I couldn't believe it. These guys have won every award imaginable in the country rock arena, have played on national television with audiences in their millions and liaised with the biggest names in music. And I have SPECIAL PERMISSION to post one of their albums. Well, who am I to say that I'm not worthy. I thought 'bout doing an interview with them and have been racking my brain for a while, about what was I going to ask and such. So I have put it on hold just now, as I know the band are very busy in the studio doing a new CD and have just released a reunion DVD, that the questions that i would have asked can be found on their new site. You can find all their history, listen to more tracks and what they have been up to all these years. So give a big Rhinestone welcome to "Whisky Hollow" folks. My favorite track on this their debut album is "Cosmic Cowboy". Grab one of the coolest bands in history here folks. And Da Fingermeister you are too cool by far. Thanks for the heads up.

sluggo,

I have not had any feedback from Da Fingermeister on that. And if that is the case anyway I have that rarity which no-one else has posted yet. So my hard work hasn't gone unnoticed and the whisky hollow are a real cool band also.

Thanks for your xtra input in this sluggo

Nope, not whisky howl - THIS is the one.
Funny, thing, i was talking to an old classmate who kept referring to her "ex", a guy named Bob. You'll never guess who he turned out to be.
Thanks for the memory - I actually booked these guys back in the '70's for a dance.

And one more thing while we're discussing old Ontario bands: did Crowbar ever release an album?

Thanx,
Da Fingermeister

Wey hey Da Fingermeister,

How goes it dude? Glad to have helped you out. This time I went out on a limb here by writing to the band and asking for permission. They were most helpful and are glad that my readers would enjoy their cool country rock sound.

Well it's not place to gossip Da Fingermeister but hey, was she one of those girls with big hair in the music video on their site?

You are welcome and decided to covers my bases on this one, just in case you got back to me and it was the other gr8 whiskey howl canuck band.

Keep on rocking Da Fingermeister. And you mention that othe band i haven't published but drop by soon well very soon as they did do a few cool albums also.....

Chow dude

I like the way they're pickin' on the Stones, or rather, on Bobby Womack.
