Reg King - Reg King 1971

My next offering is another very rare album, that is highly sought after by collectors. This self-titled solo classic by baritone "Reg King" of the 60's UK pop/soul band 'The Action' is a excellent album indeed. Here we get to hear cool guitar work coupled with sweet emotional tracks. The album took three years to complete and features, 'Steve Winwood' & 'Brian Auger" on keyboards, 'Peter Dale' on vocals and 'Elton Dean' on saxophone on Track 9. And many more contributions. This indeed is a fine body of work that offers us, the listener a snapshot in to this unsung hero's life, that contains seven bonus tracks.

01. Must Be Something Else Around (4:34)
02. You Go Have Yourself A Good Time (3:15)
03. That Ain't Living (6:45)
04. In My Dreams (3:53)
05. Little Boy (3:26)
06. 10,000 Miles (3:21)
07. Down The Drain (6:09)
08. Savannah (11:51)
09. Gone Away (2:39)
10. Must Be Something Else Around (6:20)
11. Must Be Something Else Around (Rough Mix) (4:36)
12. You Go Have Yourself A Good Time (Long Version) (4:23)
13. Down The Drain (Demo) (3:11)
14. Nobody Knows Where We Are (Long Version) (5:55)
15. 10,000 Miles (Mighty Baby Version) (4:05)
16. Gone Away (Rough Mix) (3:30)

Bought this LP when it first came out and was very pleased with the purchase. Recently picked up the CD with the bonus tracks just in case the vinyl ever wears out.

Nice contributions also from Brian Godding & Brian Belshaw from Blossom Toes and B.B Blunder fame - 2 other bands that I'd recommend.

I bought this CD about a year ago and I really like this a lot.

Has anybody ever got hold of his EP "Missing in Action" ? AFAIK it was released on vinyl only. I'd highly Appreciate if someone could rip, digitize and post it here.
