Mmmm -- thanks! Dig that reggae beat on "Cry It Out," the zydeco of "Wildest Dream," and the country stroll on "I Got the Love." This guy is so damn versatile!
Hey Holly,
You really are most eloquent. Using big words like zydeco might lose me visitors. Stop it ;] But you couldn't have put it better, even if I swallowed a dictionary for breakfast. And procrastination is my word of the day Holly. Oh how I love putting things off. But not on this occasion, I had to sort out your request pronto coz I really love our Nick also.
Many thanks for your kind comments & especially enjoying Old Nick. He is the business.
You should try out the Brinsleys if you have already and also give the stupendous "Greasy Truckers Party", you may well be surprised.
Anyway drop by soon my old china

You are most gracious Newman and good to hear that you own the original which in itself is rare also.

These Nick Lowe albums are great! PINKER & PROUDER THAN PREVIOUS sometimes gets a bad rap which really puzzles me as it's a real fun LP, Nick at his most rollicking...care to grace us with other underrated Nick Lowe albums from the '80s, like THE ROSE OF ENGLAND or THE ABOMINABLE SHOWMAN?
