HGH,

I'm pretty sure it's British. Andy Fernabch played for a bit int he Band The Houndogs.

But that being said I cannot be certain that the actrual release is Uk.

Let me know if u have any more info @ a l8r d8.

Very rare indeed. Much thankful for this posting. I knew Andy Fernbach from his contribution to the blue Thumb album "I asked for water and she gave me gasoline" and its follow up (forgot the tile, sorry, old age ...).
Cheers,

Hey Chuntao,
i enjoyed it very much but did you notice that track 9 and 10 are the same? Some confusion during ripping or uploading?
Could you re-post the missing track? I'd much appreciate.
Actually the compilations were "Me & the Devil" and "I asked for water". Was reissued as 2 LP on one CD by BGO some years ago.
Cheers,

boogieman,

Thank you for pointing that error ot. I don't know how that happened - two tracks being the same and all, but with different names. I never noticed and I have heard it a few times now and no-one else noticed. Therefore I hope this one suits your needs and again apologize to you and my readers for their extra vigilance.

I just came across this website by accident. Yes these were UK releases. Andy was active in London for several years in the late 1960s. I was bass player in his band (as heard on 'Gasoline'). Andy now runs a recording studio in Cornwall, England.

Hi ; This U.K. released album was part of " The Groundhogs Series " , distributed by Liberty Records ( later to be known as United Artists ).
This series of releases were put together by British group " The Groundhogs " . Previous postee Bob Rowe was in an earlier band of mine called The Deep Blues Band and I play the drums on a couple of the tracks on Andy F's album . I am in fact the original drummer of The Groundhogs and am still touring with original bass player Pete Cruickshank under the name " Groundhogs Rhythm Section "
