Bob Catley - Live At The Gods 1998

This next album "Live At The Gods" is really gonna rock your socks off. And I am posting this for the pleasure of Jan and friends. It has been on his wishlist for a while and I am delighted to offer him one of his wishes. It is a live bootleg of "Magnum" supremo "Bob Catley" recorded at 'The Gods', Wigan, England on November 15 1998. FYI, Richard Ashcroft from "The Verve" is also from Wigan. Well, what can I say apart from this is an truly excellent display of how to do it live and do it with gusto. And if you are not singing along,(music lyrics included), trying to headbang and air-guitar at the same time, then you don't know rock music and should stick to listening to James Blunt. The Birds - Rare British Birds 2005

John Parr - Man With A Vision 1992

"Man With A Vision" by mild mannered man of power rock John Parr was a real flop in 1992 and never got re-released. No wonder I hear y'all say. Well, we never did hear much after "St. Elmo's Fire", but this album is very listenable. There are a few good power ballads on it and if you enjoy your rock to be lighter, give this a try. Tomorrow - Tomorrow 1968

I have been meaning to post this self-titled album by UK psychedelic band "Tomorrow" as one of my first posts, but have waited till now to do so. The main reason for this is to do with copyright. EMI released a special edition 23 track on CD back in 1999, making this very highly sought after album commercial. There were 11 tracks on the original and even though "Tomorrow' never hit the likes of "Pink Floyd", they were hugely underrated. So, to keep evrything sweet, I have truncated the track listing in line with the original and used a slightly modified cover, which I think was released in the States on Sire Records. I hope you are satisified with this and welcome any comments on this matter. Anyway, what y'all waiting for. It's free! I know none of you will be disappointed.

Innerspace Original Soundtrack 1987

I hope everyone is enjoying the music. I am going to change the tempo for this post, especially for the film buffs out there, and let you have a copy of an excellent little soundtrack. The first half of Innerspace begins as a jazzy, pop rock jamboree and the second half is truly a beautiful score by Jerry Goldsmith. This soundtrack was released in 1987 and clearly shows an element of the cheese factor, but is very nicely arranged and also quite rare in collectors' circles. Hope y'all agree.

Y&T - BBC In Concert (Live On The Friday Rock Show) 2000

Y&T" or "Yesterday & Today", as some old school prefer to call them, are a heavy metal band from San Francisco. This is a BBC release from 2000, but is actually two live concerts covering 1982-84; one from their Black Tiger Tour and the other from their 1984 appearance at Donnington.
