Legendary Australian rock guitarist 'Lobby Loyde' of "Coloured Balls" fame released this debut album in 1971, while "Coloured Balls" released their debut in 1973. This guy has influenced a generation of punk rockers and R&B artists alike, that he can only be described as a god. "Plays With George Guitar" is an excellent piece of rock history.

Easyshare Sucks !!..unless you sign up..and I'm already signed up to Rapidshare and Megaupload so don't want to sign up for yet another download service..it just keeps timing down to zero and then going back to 19 seconds again..time after time...any chance of getting this on either of the 2 I've mentioned??..thanks, Jay

I am sorry you are having problems with easy-share. No-one else has made this comment till now. I was unaware you had to sign up. There are times I take albums from people who use easy-share and I don't have to log in - just w8 and enter alphanumeric code. Maybe you have a couple of pieces of spyware etc. Or are running too many different programs, that it isn't catching properly.
Well I will probably be forced to use another download service soon as there is limited space on easy-share and I also took a poll recently (on my side-bar) to ask my readers and listeners to vote for me.
In the mean time I apologize for any inconvenience caused & hoe that you can get round to downloading some of my music real soon.

Hmm.. This is interesting, just downloaded this as I remembered seeing this pass me buy on my exploration of this blog.Today in the mail just arrived a copy ,from Chaos music store, Australia, a Cd copy of the Coloured Balls - "Ball Power" Album, Which I ordered at the start of December. Not sure now how I heard sbout Ball power ,but I rememember there being mention of it being proto AC/DC. Well I listened to some of it while cleaning up after dinner and drove the Mrs from the room and what I have heard so far is bloody good.
Just listning to this lobby loyd stuff as I type and "feels Good" is on right now and what an impressive slow blues with awesome guitar playing.
also turned up today with the Cououred Balls Cd is a 2 CD compilation Called The Complete Havoc Singles, which is a comp of aussie rock and prog incl.. coulured balls, the aztecs, the wilde cherries(another lobby group) and others, got half way through disc one and am very impressed.
Anyhow am really enjoying this lobby guitar pyrotchnics right now so thank for this post.

Mighty fine of you to stop by again and share your knowledge with us. I'm sure you have a lot of original albums as well as mp3's. You are probably aware that you can get a lot of 'Coloured Balls' stuff on chrisgoesrocks. I wanted to post something by them that no-one else has posted before and was really stoked when I found this rarity.
I don't have anything by the wild cherries yet so I i'll do some hunting and see how they sound. Lobby was a very busy guy it seems.
FYI, I have managed to get 20 out of 21 tracks by the mad hippy B.L.A.n.d you mentioned in an unpublished comment. Yeh you know who I mean. (very rare).I will w8 some more and might post them without final track but have to check whether last track is available as a digital download or a youtube video.

A very very good album which I would have missed if it wasn't for the Colored Balls post.
Of these two, I prefer this one, partly because it doesn't have any loud sound spikes in it.
