Jeremy,

Yes, I totally agree with you. This is a beautiful album - especially forthis time of year. Are you requesting the Kamakawiwo'ole album in mp3 ? If so that should not be problem.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hello Chuntao

Okay; I'm downloading this one as I type, per your recommendation. I wouldn't have looked at it twice otherwise, but it does look interesting.

Concerning requests there is something that I just recently heard about, that I didn't know existed.

A bootleg of Donovan's, "There Is No Open Road." Outtakes from the "Open Road" album, easily my favorite of all of his.

Ever heard of it? I've checked for it on ebay for a while but had no luck.

I did enjoy his "Neutonica." Thanks for sharing it and thanks in advance for this one.

Hello Christo o' Gordo,

Sorry I missed your comments recently. I'm glad you enjoyed some of my rarities. I have done some digging for you and "There is no open road" is a very rare recording indeed. I shall keep it in mind but it looks almost non-existent, but you may be able to trade someone for a copy - no many hits on google.

And the 'Neutronica' album is quite lovely.

Good luck

Thanks for checking, Chuntao, you're the best.

It's important for each of us to have a holy grail out there, aye?

If I ever find a copy, I'll share it as well.

Thanks much - my wife loves these guys so this as a great Christmas present.

As for requests - I'd love to see John Parr's album with the song Restless Heart and/or Running away with you (called either or both) - it's the end title from Running Man, and a huge omission from that soundtrack.

Keep up the wonderful work!

Anon,

Thank you for your comments, but it would be nice to address a nickname.

Anyway, thank you for your interest in C&K. I'm sure your wife will be happy with this free but lovely album. If you check out today's post 22 December 2008, I have posted 'Night Music" which should doubly keep her happy :]

As for John Parr, I posted "Man With A Vision" some time back & it contains the 'Restless Heart' track you are looking for.

Good Luck & Enjoy all my rarities

Happy festive season

Christo,

I don't mind if you keep this thread going. Coz we are reading from the same hymn sheet here. :)

I have used the software you mention & it can be quite daunting. Mind it does have its uses. But in this case it is not needed - right click & save link as. Normally you would get a shortcut or other .htm file. Not here you get the album. ^^

Happy festive time Christo.

Thanks once again for your awesome present & let me know if you have any problems.

Christo,

Your message has been received again and duly noted. Sorry I can't publish again, as you mention a file extension which might draw it attention.

Anyway, b4 I posted 'our album' I used an album splitter found at http://www.pistonsoft.com and managed to get first couple of tracks with a automatic pause of 5.3 seconds that managed to get 21 tracks. I listened to it and it had some overplay on some. So I was going to do it manually but it is alot of work. Maybe you could try that and let me know, coz I would like to get it at a higher bitrate.

I also tried to put the wrapped album to disc & my Nero would not do it.

C.

So the only way is to get it to disc and ripping it back. I hope this helps and thank you again for letting me help us both. And I will check out the other bootleg you mention ;] They are one of my link buddies hehe

PS Do you have an email addy?

Speak soon and good luck
