The Spectrum - The Light Is Dark Enough 1970

Well, if you good folks are ready and are not lagging behind too much, I hope y'all ready for my next slice of pie. "The Light Is Dark Enough" offers us a plethora of yummy psychedelic pop by "The Spectrum" from 1970 and is very rare. This is a peach of an album that starts out with an excellent cover of "The Beatles" track, "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" and keeps a lot of that slick momentum for the rest of this groovy album.

01. Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da (3:02)
02. Mr Jenkins Brand New Boots (3:53)
03. Nodnol (2:48)
04. Walrus & The Horse (3:37)
05. Glory (3:28)
06. Portobello Road (2:21)
07. Mandy (3:42)
08. Headin' For A Heatwave (2:42)
09. Jacqueline (3:35)
10. The Light Is Dark Enough (2:29)

I don't believe that this is the Australian band Spectrum, but a UK band called 'The Spectrum'.

Wowie Zowie, just finished up listening to this and from the start to the very end it is a fantastical LP. My fave tracks were personally Nodnol and Glory, but truly I would rank this a four/four and a half stars out of five!
Thanks so much for bringing this out of the darkness long enough for us to hear it. Namaste.
