Michael Stanley Band - Ladies' Choice 1976

Next up are the endearing "Michael Stanley Band", or "MSB", whose brand of classic 'heartland rock' was very cool in the 70's & 80's. And to tell you the truth, it still has it's place in the noughties also. Michael Stanley is a very successful US musician & DJ and his songs show a lot diversity, yet evocatively simple. I hadn't heard them before, until I got a request and I'm really chuffed I did. They are very easy to listen to and will leave you wanting more. So put your index fingers together for Stymie's choice, oh sorry "Ladies' Choice". Thanks again my friend for introducing me to yet another cool band.

WOW!!! I usually check my bloggers when I'm drunk as shit so I find it amazing that I called out MSB. The ultimate experience is 'Stage Pass', however. They never got near that one again.
The Daltrey and Brinsley Schwarz albums are very nice as well.
And to ans your Q from last week--YES, the comedian, Lenny Bruce.
Um, how about The Outlaws and the 'Bring It Back Alive' LP...has to be out-of print AND it kicks butts.
Drunk in Indiana, your friend...
