Well, well, well. What have we got here. Uch just another rarity I hear y'all say. Just another rarity. Yup sure is. But this is no ordinary rarity. Up until last year "Greasy Truckers Party" was a deleted album. Then they decided to release a special 3 CD set of this fine live concert recorded at the 'Roundhouse' London in February 1972 to help raise money for worthwhile causes. The concert itself was a bit of a farce and included an impromtu track called "Power Cut" because of an abundance of power outages. Unfortunately, I have not managed to include this track here, but after y'all hear the epic and orgasmic 21 minute "Spunk Rock" track by "Man", I know you won't be disappointed. I have split the archive in two parts so that I could keep the bit-rate high. FYI, I also have the ultra rare 3 disc set in FLAC format.

just noticed you mentioned you have FLACs of the whole 3CD version??!!?? outside of a small interest in the 1st Man lp, im really only into Hawkwind from this set. it'd be great to hear their entire set. ive seen the set list, and it looks incredible...ill go listen to this whole 2LP now...maybee ill get into all the other artists as a result...anyways, THANKS AGAIN !!! :)

Thanx for your interest in this cool album. I have now converted it from FLAC to mp3 (320) to save some space as it still takes up 0.5GB. Let me know how you get on with the original and try to remember a nickname & I'll see what we can do.

just to let you know that i'll be dipping into the sassafras upload when i've listened to the 'truckers' album. i mention this because i saw sassafras many many years ago as an impressionable youth on the same bill as 'a band called o', and i was wondering whether you had anything by them, too? probably not, but i thought i'd ask on the off chance.
btw, i take your point about making a comment and saying thanks. i have to admit that i've been one of those offending parties who tends to take stuff like a kid in a candy store without a thought to all the hard work being put in by the blogger. many apologies to yourself and all the other bloggers that i've taken stuff from in the past, "without as much as a by your leave", as my gran would have said! it's really easy to get carried away when you first discover sites like this and to just take, take, take. anyway, you've managed to hit the button marked 'guilt trip' in my mind and i'll be trying to be more appreciating of the people who make all these amazing listening experiences possible.
