VA - Every Which Way But Loose Soundtrack 1979

I said last week that I would post my favorite soundtrack and now here it is. "The Wraith" and "Easy Rider" are two of my favorites but "Every Which Way But Loose" has to my best favorite. A lot of my favorite films actually have Clint Eastwood in them eg. "Kelly's Hero's" and "Where Eagles Dare", but he is not my all time favorite actor. However, he is up there in the top 3.

Anyway, I thought this soundtrack would follow on nicely from the Bluegrass feel. This album is more Country than Bluegrass, but nevertheless I still feel it has its place here. "Every Which Way But Loose" is actually an out of print album and pretty rare. It is rich and vibrant in texture and a lot of the lyrics are tongue-in-cheek. Normally country songs are all about how your dog and wife left you etc, but the tracks here reflect a sense of optimism and I also like the fact that Sondra Locke is featured here twice, whom Clint went on to marry. Download it here and see if y'all agree. Right turn Clyde.

Yes it's great. I love the Biker's Theme too.

I've had it on my MP3 player. I know all these songs from seeing the film all these years. Great stuff.

Would love to get the Any Which Way You Can soundtrack too.

Awesome. I had a friend who actually shipped his LP to Germany (from the U.S.) to have his album transferred to a CD. He spent $75 (U.S) bucks to get the album converted and refuses to let anyone borrow it for copying. He's going to be pissed that I have it.
