The Beach Boys - Surfin' 1961

Next up, I bring to y'all now another free music download for your enjoyment. This time in the shape of sun, sea, sand and "Surfin'" dudes and dudettes. This hard to find album from "The Beach Boys" from 1961, brings the freshness of their popular, catchy sing-along rock-n-roll sound, with the flavor of summer and the expectation of meeting that special someone. I love this band something terrible; when your down you can switch them on and when the weather is dismal you can just tune in and imagine yourself at Pacific Beach, maybe catching a few tubes or sipping on cocktails. Smile everyone, because you know you want to.

Chuntao dearest,
even though I too love The Beach Boys' music (and vocals!), when I read 1961 I chose to pass. They became more interesting later on, in my (not so) humble opinion.
Anyway, I changed my mind and am really glad I did! This is far better than I'd expected, and if you'd put the zipped inlays in the post instead of the (actually unrelated) Smile!-cover more people might realize that.(Don't think it would sound any less good at 128 though, but that's a minor issue.)

Regumary, Leo.

Leo,

A small oversight on my part. I also didn't realize that it was a small bitrate will check that out and maybe make it better, The Smile cover is just an xtra present for collector's. I wasn't trying to mislead people. oops

And you gotta remember this even though it was a FIRST up, it was one of my first posts also Leo. We are always learning and trying to perfect the service.

But in saying all that, I am glad you really enjoyed this one. Good on you ;]

...o.k. 1961 wasn't the best year in music but
better then nowadays, anyway.
...and the genius of the Beach Boys is even there
on this, their first or second outing...glad to
see Rattans agreeing with it in the end...thanks
for posting!
