Thanks for the Beatles and Stones boots. They both cover multiple eras. Haven't seen them anywhere else.

Hi Nick,

I'm happy to see that you enjoyed those albums & look forward in future comments you may have. And as you say they cover a multitude of sins. ;]

Dear Chuntao, I have a request. It's for The Rolling Stones' Bedspring Symphony, a bootleg (on TAKRL?) I have on vinyl but I don't have a gramophone right now. Mick Taylor is on it.

I notice that this boot (Electric MFs) have a couple of tracks from the Toronto benefit. The whole show is amazing, it came out on The Swingin' Pig label. Recommended.

Among others, Ian McLagan plays on it.

Dear Ms.C.Laneous,
please sit or lie down. Relax. Breathe slowly, and don't post more than we, your faithful followers can swallow. I used to visit a "deliteful" blog that you link to, but the stress became too much. (Also, I questioned why "Here, My Dear" had a jpeg that was very nsfw in it. The reply was... "some people" or something like that.)

Feeling alright? Good. The Acoustic link is in the same place as the Symphony, heheheh.

Ok, I heartily dislike parts of this hodge-podge Electric MFs. I'll keep some, but not Dirty Mac (its Sessions have far greater impact), track 12 (ditto Blind Date mentioned above), track 13 for a real crappy sound and last but not least, Sympathy For The Devil is the version from Altamont and it gives me the creeps. ("something funny always happens when we start that number")

Hi Chuntao,

Many many thanks for this post! When I'm into a band, I legally try to get my hands on all official releases. Well, I'm into the stones (at least the sixties/early seventies stones), but where can one get the italian version of as tears go by, officiallly released in spring 1966 in Italy? Thanks again!

Gijs, just happy because of my completist fetish, not because of the song, which is the worst the stones ever released imo

Thanks for this. It's a really interesting album. I particularly like "Fancy Man Blues" and the French version of "As Tears Go By".

Now I have to go check out that accoustic companion piece,

Cheers,

David

I have a friend that is going through chemo therapy.
He's a huge Stones fan, and also Chuck Berry.
I'm trying to find WORKING links of rare videos and Cd's that he might not have!
If you can help me, I'd really appreciate it.
