Nothing earth-shattering here - except the demos Bad To Me and One And One Is Two, which are interesting...but that 12-Bar Original is unusual!
Glad you approve O.B Dan
These are the very types of recordings that are most interesting to me: demos; alternate takes; outtakes; rehearsals. Very nice. I did not have much luck with my download yesterday of The Clash, Elvis Has Left the Building. I cannot get the entire file unzipped. Same with Repo Man (cannot get any of it unzipped). Any advice?
earlyrocker,
Sorry 'bout any delay in you getting those albums. They seem to be fine. I think. But let me again if you have probs.
My apologies

Nice one James,
Thanks for your appreciation & commenting in part in your native tongue. Thank you & enjoy what we have on offer. Happy New Year :]
Just discovered your blog. Love it! Thanks for this.
Steve
Steve,
No worries. Enjoy :)

Boots from Yellow Dog are really great! The "Unsurpassed Masters" are my favourites, to hear Strawberry Fields Forever evolve is... (words elude me).
Thank you Chuntao for your work + time. Hope your site doesn't get a c'n'd order.
Btw, I don't like easyshare so much, but that's my problem, not yours.
Thanks Leo Rattnas for your appreciation of the music. And the effort required to maintain this blog. I hope that I don't get one either. Fingers crossed.
A few people have commented on easy-share Leo. I did a poll recently asking which service my readers preferred & I may have to change it soon. Sorry for any inconvenience it may cause.
See ya soon.

Yeah, I saw the survey (based on 72 answers). My personal feeling of Rapidshare and Megaupload is that they seem to be more inclined to remove material. Have any of your files been taken down?
Today and two days ago easy-share worked real fast for me, 2.5 mb/s.
Yesterday it was 50-60 kb/s.
Pro's and con's everywhere, I guess.
Do you have more Yellow Dog?
Yes Leo,
I think it was a survey over 2 months and it was very disappointing the amount of people who took part in a poll that is ultimately for their benefit.
I have had 4/5 albums taken down - Metallica bootleg live at O2 Bberlin '08,
Hall & Oats Rares - all single tracks, high Tide Tide - Sea shanties, which I see on other blogs and are still up.
And a Traffic One. Oh and the guns n roses new leaked album which I misnamed and it still got onto torrent sites with their misnamed album title.
Well It's good to see that you are getting better speeds with easy-share. It can vary sometimes I guess. I will need to change download service soon as one only gets limited space of 20GB.
I agree that RS is keen on emoving links pretty fast, but MU is ok I find, as I have seen links on certain blogs that are still up after 18 months. I guess it swings about in roundabouts.
I will check your request and you will be the first to know ( I suppose you mean Beatles on Yellow Dog, ya?
Speak soon.
C.
Yo' Leo,
Ah I maybe shouldn't have published this comment or is it ok ?
I don't know of Pear label, but will look in2 it not just for you but coz i'm an information junkie hehe. Sounds very interesting.
PS I now have your address & will use it for future reference as you seem a very knowledgeable chap Leo.
Thanks again for your input.
Also Leo I'm not sure whether you read all the comments but here is a link to 40 Rolling Stones boots - one of which you requested

Good luck

Aw shucks, you're too kind! Flattery will get you anywhere. (Toronto -79 maybe? Blind Date Revisited, Swingin' Pig)
I'm more of a geezer, perhaps even a codger, and English is not my native language.
Like yourself, I care for my integrity and privacy, so if I'll get a lot of spam on this address too I won't be happy, but I doubt that will happen.
Feel free to write, invite me to view your blogger-profile and tell me where Andy Boy hid the link.

Thank you very much for pointing me in the right direction! Aah, to hear Midnight Rambler again! I suspected the Symphony might be there, but the intelligent collective is not so easy to search, right?
Uncut magazine had a George Harrison issue last year, in August I think. Found the mag at, you guessed it, the library but someone must have stolen the disc. If you've got the time...
I've quite warmed to easy-share, it's always fast except for that one day.
L
Leo,
Good of you to drop in again. Glad you managed to acquire that Stones boot you were after and probably some others also ;) Was thinking of posting it myself but easy-share has been going thru some upgrades in the last few days I have had to use some albums that were pending in my intray.
Yes the discs from those music magazines rarely get posted, only sold for a couple of bux. However will have a look later in the week for you or pick it up in a second hand shop sometime.
I also haven't managed to listen to that parliament track you mention, but I think it plays fine my friend.
Thanks again Leo
C.
Hi,
I hope you're aware that Octaner's been posting some Pear releases recently. They're not Purple, but quite nice anyway.
Sha-la-la-Leo.

What a great site. I am so pleased to encounter all of this music that would otherwise pass into history!
